Tower Bloxx: Great game!

The world of casual games can get repetitive. It's nice to see something new. Tower Bloxx fits that category. This game requires you to build towers by aligning building blocks that swing precariously from a crane.

This game will hook you in right away. I also found this game relaxing because there is no resource management to deal with... there is no penalty for building a new tower over another one and no real time constraints to deal with. So you can take your time and experiment with different puzzle solutions.

Airport Mania - A little too "cute" for me but different and challenging enough.

Escape the Museum - Fun!

Money Tree - A little bit of skill. A little bit of time management. A little slow. A little fast. What's with the story though?

Mystery Cookbook - Hmmm... Interesting! A few different challenges in addition to the regular hidden object game. I like that you don't seem to get a boatload of time for each puzzle either. Nice character renderings too.

Super Market Mania - Whoa! Hectic pace! Challenging and fun, but I wish the cop would drop-kick the shoplifters... But that's really neither here nor there.

Build-a-lot 2: Town of the Year - A nice progression in difficulty and enhancements from the first one without losing the style. All-around great game.

Westward 2 - Loved it! Great improvements in game play and so many "Easter Eggs." I nearly fell out of my chair laughing when I found the Sasquatch!

Virtual Villagers 3 - Haven't played it yet but I'm avoiding the forums on this so it won't ruin the surprise. Getting ready to lose a little free time for sure!

Garden Defense - One of the BEST tower-defense type games out there, IMHO

Virtual Villagers 3 Cheats and Walkthrough

Hola beach lovers!

Summer is here and yours truly is headed off on a little "vay cay" to see some friends in lovely, sunny Daytona Beach! Woo hoo!
I can't wait to see the palm trees, walk on the sand and swim in the ocean but before I got ready to go, I had the absolute pleasure to play the latest installment of Virtual Villagers!! Yay!!

Virtual Villagers 3 - The Secret City, is the continuation of the legend of Isola. It's brought to you by the creative folks at "Last Day of Work," The geniuses behind VV 1 & 2, Fish Tycoon and Plant Tycoon! I tell ya, playing this game got me really psyched for hittin' the beach. I can't wait to run around the beach making lil' baby noises and "Look around excitedly at everything!"

Ummmm.... If you're not familiar with the VV games that last statement made me sound like a real idiot, didn't it?

Anyway, before I jet off the sunny "Eff-El-Ay," I wanted to makes sure you had a handy-dandy guide to refer to while I'm gone. A special thanks to the folks at LDW for posting so much info on their forums, especially the "Island Events!"

I'll try to monitor the forums while I'm gone to help anyone who's stuck but the guide is pretty thorough so be sure to check it ~before~ you post!

Have fun and watch out for sharks!!

Oooo... yeah... I better do the same.

It's Westward 2 Y'all

Howdy Y'all!

Ok... confession time... About two weeks ago I my curiosity got the best of me. Ya see, I kept seeing all these posts on the forums about the Virtual Villagers Games so I decided to give them a try... and I lost a good 2 weeks of my life!

So, now that I am ~thoroughly~ addicted to these sim-type games, I simply cannot get enough! That's why I was tickled to see that Sandlot games just released Westward 2. Sandlot has always been a reliable source for good casual games and Westward 2 is no exception!

I'm having a LOT of fun figuring this one out and I'm working on a good strategy guide for y'all (did I just really write "y'all?!") but I thought that until then, we can try and work through some of this together on the forums. So if any of you fine folks have any questions for now, post 'em on the forums and together we'll tame the wild west!

NOTE: I dunno about you guys but ever since I started playing this game, I have an uncontrollable urge to watch Spaghetti Westerns and call everyone I see "pilgrim." Yup! I've turned into "Urban Cowgirl!"

Hyperballoid 2

These brick-busting games have really come a long way from arkanoid and breakout. They apparently just use a random name generator for the latest generation, such as Hyperballoid 2. Since I'm unclear what a balloid is, a hyper one is well beyond me. However, the entertainment value of this game was high. I'd recommend it for anyone that needs a reason to not do homework, needs something to do while your roommate insists on watching Project Runway, or for a thirty minute break from life.

Fun Game: Garden Defense

By zavy

I've been getting into these "defense" games lately like "Master of Defense". The latest one I've discovered is "Garden Defense". It has more twists than Master of Defense, like the ability to move your defense towers. Be sure to check it out. A walkthough has been posted as well.

Help the Smiths by deploying a wild arsenal of lawn ornaments, bug-fighting plants and other oddball inventions to stop the threat in the Smith`s backyard and beyond. Research new, more effective ways to protect your flowerbeds.

Farm Frenzy Tips

By jasper

I grew up on a ranch, which is actually quite different than a farm, but I still had to try out Farm Frenzy. I've never heard of bears on a dairy farm, but I guess its a serious problem in this game's version of reality.

Fun game, I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a distraction. It gets challenging quickly. Check out the guide if you get stuck, and please feel free to contribute your own tips. The guide is still a work in progress.
